Biographical

John is an experienced trial lawyer and counselor to businesses.  His practice is focused on commercial and intellectual property litigation in both state and federal courts. He has extensive jury and non-jury trial experience in corporate, business, entertainment, insurance, and personal injury litigation. Mr. Griffin has represented Country Music Hall of Fame songwriters, as well as various record companies, music publishing companies, manufacturers, and insurance companies in a wide variety of disputes. John is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 listed mediator.

John worked at Kay Griffin, PLLC for thirty years and served as its managing member for over a decade.  Upon the closing of the firm, he co-founded Griffin Bowen, PLLC with the goal of providing exceptional legal representation to clients and a superior mediation experience.
