Biographical

Edward Bearman is the founder of the Law Office of Edward M. Bearman in Memphis Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Colorado undergraduate and Denver University Law School in 1990. Following law school he clerked for the Honorable W. Frank Crawford, Chief Judge of the Tennessee Court of Appeals Western Section. He  has represented and tried cases for Clients in multiple states relating to issues such as zoning, alcohol licensing and violations, employment and liability issues, entertainment issues, government relations, constitutional challenges of laws, first amendment issues, product liability, purchases and sales of businesses, personal injury, commercial issues, coverage questions, and general insurance defense. Mr. Bearman has litigated successfully for and against Fortune 500 and publically traded companies involving complex business disputes. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum recognizing multiple results for clients in amounts over 1 million dollars. He has also been selected as 1 of the top 100 Lawyers in Tennessee by Americas Top 100 Attorneys. He has served on the Board of several entities including publically traded businesses and charities. Mr. Bearman is licensed in Tennessee and practices in all State and Federal Courts and other administrative tribunals in Tennessee. He is admitted to practice in the 6th Circuit and the United States Tax Court and is a certified Mediator. As a mediator he has assisted in resolving cases involving personal injury, complex commercial disputes, insurance coverage issues, medical malpractice, property disputes and multiple other issues.  He has lectured on many different topics ranging from damages to coverage issues in insurance contexts to trial strategy and jury selection.
