Biographical Notes:

William Young has 33 years of experience in a number of areas of civil trial practice, including personal injury litigation, products liability, construction, trucking, insurance coverage, and insurance defense.

His considerable appellate experience includes cases argued in the Tennessee appellate courts as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation and a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Young is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, 2007, in the field of personal injury litigation. He was also named a Mid South Super Lawyer in 2006 and 2007.

Bill is a member of the Knoxville law firm, O'Neil, Parker and Williamson, PLLC. His practice over the past thirty-five years has been devoted to general civil litigation, both plaintiff and defense. His litigation experience has included a wide variety of cases, including auto and premises liability tort cases, products liability, class action litigation, trucking accident litigation, construction defect and management litigation, contract disputes, worker's compensation, and employment cases.

Bill began serving as a mediator regularly in 1996, and he devotes substantial time to mediation of civil cases. He is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed Mediator.
