Biographical Notes:
As a late in life lawyer (now retired), my first position was to be the firm's family law section. After a year of litigation, I knew there had to be an easier way! So I beccame Memphis' first professional mediator in 1984.
I try to employ facilitative mediation techniques as much as possible, as opposed to just shuttling back and forth between parties. This is expecially effective in work place and family issues. See my Web page for a fuller explanation at www.wurzburgmediation.com.
Recently, I have added an evaluative/facilitative style of co-mediation with Daniel Copp, JD, MBA, for complex business issues. (Contact me 901-684-1332 or Dan at 901-818-5635). Along with Dan, and Susan Hobson, we have created Mediation on Call to assist smaller business and their HR departments to resolve conflicts pre-suit/pre-filing.
I teach 40/46 Hour Rule 31 approved facilitative Family Law Mediation, 24/30 hour Cross-Over (from civil to family) training and, also, kids in school peer mediation.
