Barry Howard has practiced law for over 36 years. During that time his practice has primarily consisted of representing parties in all types of civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury, professional liability and business litigation. He has tried over 200 civil cases to jury verdict.  As a practicing attorney he has participated in many mediations as the attorney representing a party in the litigation. This has given him a unique opportunity to observe and learn the things important to everyone participating in the mediation process.  

Mr. Howard is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 listed civil mediator. As a mediator he has mediated personal injury, medical malpractice, professional liability, construction disputes, insurance coverage, employment, civil rights and commercial disputes. The scope of these mediations includes catastrophic injury cases, multi-million dollar commercial transactions, wrongful death claims, medical malpractice cases and numerous less severe personal injury cases.

$310 per hour; $155 per hour for travel for distances further than 50 miles
